Americans and pot when Will the gov,t ease up?

why dont more americans petition there gov,t to ease up on pot laws ? the reason it hasnt been legalized in canada is because of the presser from the american gov,t (and of course are gov,t gives in) think of the jail space if all minor pot offenders wer released from prison think of the money the police dept would save not wasting time busting the guy sitting in his house smokeing a doobie.

The law can't put a tax on it. Pot does so much more for people and their health. People should have a say in it, but the truth is they don't. What makes you think the cops don't make any money by arresting pot smokers? The cops got $7000.00 and my husbands life when they caught me. He died 10 days after they arrested me. I only had a quarter pound,. I had been to mexico and got blood pressure meds for a friend of mine that couldn't afford to go see a doctor, let alone afford the meds. I got antibotics for some other friends that couldn't afford the medicine, allgera for another friend and somma's for my son that has a rare disease. I wanted to see if they would stop his shaking a little. I had script's for all the meds, but be aware, Mexican script's aren't legal after you pass the last 2 check points. The Mexican government will tell you they are legal, but i did 5 years probabtion and lost the best half of my life. I told them what would happen, but law has NO compassion and rightly don't give a rats ***. My only comment to them is, they better NEVER be needing help and laying on the ground having a heart attack, or bleeding to death, I would never lift a finger to help them.

In a democracy, the people ARE the government - when will you realize that you are in the minority?
Don't believe it? Get a petition, get the signatures, get it on a ballot - and see how the results turn out.
Note: I know of no one who has ever been busted while smoking a doobie in his home.

Man when will you guys ever learn Pot scrambles ya brain,it has been medically proven all over world.
Legalising it will prove nothing as it is worse than cigarette smoking and that adds billions of dollars in health costs to the population.
Hence throughout world cigarette smoking is being banned progressively from most public venues , so Pot smoking being legal get real ...♥

I know, I'm with you on this. Dont put your hopes in the Democrats though. Although their voters are probably more in favor of legalization, they wont have the balls to bring it to legislation and vote on it.
