Decide to really change your life around. Losing a large amount of weight takes dedication and perseverance. You have to see your doctor first and foremost, to make sure you have no underlying health concerns, like diabetes or thyroid problems. If the MD clears you ask to be refered to a nutritionist. The nutritionist can determine how many calories you will need to remain healthy but lose weight. They will make reccomendations about what you should and shouldn't eat, and they will monitor your progress and adjust your diet plan accordingly as you begin to lose weight. I imagine it has taken you years to put on this weight, so it isn't going to just fall off in a minute, but be patient and do what the professionals tell you...You life depends on it. You are still very young, and you can change the course of your health. Being heavy as you age has nasty implications, such as diabetes, heart disease, high cholerstrol, etc.....It can also make you somewhat impotent.....
I have a 16 year old son whi is 6 ft 5 and weighs 275 lbs, he is trying to lose weight too, and it is hard! I watch him struggle, but if you take my advice you will be on the right path, I promise! Best of luck to you sweetie!

Join Weight Watchers. The plans are very sensible and teaches you portion control and getting a balanced diet. The program stresses losing weight over time to better maintain the loss and you get a lot of support from other people.
Also check with your doctor. There may be an underlying medical cause for your weight gain.

well you should start by loosing a few 200 pounds i know this great plan its called nutrisystem my sister tried it and shes loosing 5 pounds a weeki consider it to be great cuz she doesnt even go to the gym
