Hopefully, good and decent people everywhere can realize the difference between supporting war and supporting the men and women who are fighting and dying in war.
Wether that country is right or wrong in it's ideal or endeavor.
I am against war. Period.
But to commit such an act of ultimate disrespect by picketting a soldier's grave.... may G-d have mercy on the pathetic soul who would do such a thing.
Many people assume that if you are against war that you do not support the troops that are fighting the war.
That is absolutely not the case at all.
Protest the war all you want. Those men and women in the war are fighting for your right to do so.
But make no mistake about it...you must support those troops, their lives depend on how we act and what we say at home. So do so wisely.
To picket the grave or the funeral of a soldier, whose family members are in deep grief and beside his gravesite, is an act of human disgrace.
I would hope you might think twice about such an act, or think twice about supporting anyone who would do such a despicable thing.

Umm what are you protesting for?
What ever it is, don't picket at a funeral, doesn't matter whose funeral. A funeral is a place where people say good bye to the dead and have a emotional moment.
If you're Christian or Catholic you should know better then to protest at a funeral. Just do it some where else.
I mean how would you feel like if some one went to your parents or relatives/family's funeral and protested that religion sucks. Your freedom of speech is protected by the Constitution, however your integrity is something you protect.

You should carry a sign that states the following: "I'm a worthless piece of crap who can't think of anything better to do than picket the funeral of a BRAVE AMERICAN SOLDIER...Thank you for being so brave and selfless, while I sit here looking cowardly and stupid." Then, you should move to some third world country where you and your family are beaten on an hourly basis, starving and have no access to medical treatment...then ask for some help from the US MILITARY!!! Do you realize that you have the right to carry your stupid signs around BECAUSE of the brave men and women in the military! You are an A@S.

For or against the military or war a funeral is not the right place to carry it out. If you want to picket for whatever reason military issues do it at a recruiting center or MEPS center (outside their property).
A funeral just doesnt seem right as the family is already grieving the loss of a loved one and no matter your views it is a life gone.
If you are picketing against the people in the article I would suggest going to their starting ground - church home wherever. If you are picketing with them then I can't help you with what to say as I am quite shocked anyone would be that calious to do that to a family grieving.
If you insist on it, I would recommend you do it away from the actual burial location as the family is innocent and needs no more hardships while trying to remember their kin.

Man, don't you even have a heart. It doesn't matter if the slain soldier was gay or had purple skin or pink polka dots.
He died for our country's sake. He died serving this great country.
How low can you and others like you go? Can't a dead soldier even rest in peace, you have to taunt him from the grave?
What are you doing for our country's sake besides dishonoring a man who served his country? Ye who cast the first stone. Are you perfect, do you never sin? If you are a sinless man, then you are absolutely nuts and not a servant of God.
Think about what you are doing.
My father served in the military and fought in 3 wars. He died and we had his funeral yesterday. If anyone like you showed up to dishonor him(he wasn't gay) for any reason. It would not of been tolerated.
Think about if this soldier who died for our country was your brother or someone you loved? Would you tolerate your behavior, I doubt it. I certainly wouldn't and can't even tolerate your question.
Yes, here is a good sign carry around.
"I am proud of this soldier, he died serving his country. He should be honored and remembered for the good service he did, and lost his life in this service"

I love idiots like you...all talk...no action...truth is that you'd piss yourself if you saw someone in the military comin at ya. It's really too bad. Maybe you should try moving out of your moms basement, trying to clear up the acne, lose some weight and join the rest of society. Just a thought...or you could just keep on playin video games for the rest of your life, either way who cares.
You'd be eaten alive if you set foot near a military funeral...what a wuss...

The best answer to your question is found in the article itself:
'Funeral Protesters are the Maggots of Society'
But the important question is, do you have the courage to carry that sign?

Here is a good one. Make one that says :
I am a mama's boy.
I was never tought how to respect other people.
I think of myself and myself and myself.
I would def. hire people (guards ) and such and such to keep you so far away you would need a telescope to barely see the funeral of any member of my family.
I'll bet you were raised by women and not tought how to be a man.

People like you should be lined up on a wall and shot. Fortunatly for you, that soldier died so that would never happen to you or anyone in this Nation.
