It really depends on the person and their genes. A very hairy person may begin growing one very early. (When my baby brother was 11, he got scolded one day for coming to the table with a dirty face. It wasn't until he had washed it 3 times that my mother took the washcloth and tried to wash the dirt off. It was then that she realized it wasn't dirt but a mustache)

It takes a lot of men until their late teens or early twenties to begin to grow a good beard. It all depends on your genes. Some can grow a respectable beard when they're 15 too, just depends

Most guys start growing beards at 15 it will probably be spotty but it will fill in, some people start early, some late my brother didn't start shaving until he was 17. So just be patient it will grow. If you have spotty peach fuzz you can shave to make it come in fuller and darker, but it will also get coarser. To remedy this by letting it grow for 2 weeks before shaving.

When I was a bit younger I had to shave only about once every month or so, but now that i'm fifteen I can grow a very good and thick beard. And I do. Often times I have to convince people of my age and grade because they don't believe me.
I eat and live special for my bead, do lots of research and I keep it healthy and thick.
The last thing you want is pubes on your face.

You can start growing facial hair at puberty but most men can't grow a beard until their late teens or twenties. Your hair will grow very patchy until you shave for a while, then it will thicken up and fill in.
