what can i do...i have approx 400 photos stored on it and now i am stuck....

Not having had this happen before - the first thing I would do is remove the card and re-insert it (pay attention and make sure it is with the right side facing up) and see if that helps.

If it does not you may want to contact the camera manufacturer on-line. Search for the Maker's name and "support". For example.., if your camera is made by Sony.., do a Yahoo or Google search for "Sony Camera Support"... or ... "Sony Corporation.." ...,

Its best to look at the book that came with your camera to find any toll free numbers, maybe even a Trouble Shooter guide in the book itself. Hope this helps.

Try cleaning both card and card slot. If it's a 'fatal error' you may have to re-format the card with your format option. You could also try reading it on your p.c.

Cool down!

You have two solutions:

1- Re-start your camera.
if does't work then:
2- remove the card and re-insert it again.
if doesn't work then:
say goodbye to all your shots and :
3- format the card.

Pick it up, grip between thumb and forefinger aim and launch out the nearest window, works well when ure driving too !!
