Philosophers have pondered what truth is for centuries, with embarrassingly little to show for their efforts. However, you can find the answer to Pilate’s question. Jesus Christ taught that God’s Word is truth. He also spoke of himself as “the truth.” And the apostle John wrote: “The truth came to be through Jesus.” The entire body of Christian teachings, which later became part of the Bible, are therefore also called “the truth” or “the truth of the good news.” ( Galatians 2:14; 2 John 1, 2) These Christian teachings embody such things as God’s personal name, the establishment of God’s Kingdom, the resurrection, and Jesus’ ransom.

Jesus clearly said: “I am the way and the truth and the life.” (John 14:6) “the truth” centers around Christ Jesus and his place in Jehovah God’s purposes as the Fulfiller of prophecies, Ransomer for sinful mankind, appointed King of God’s Kingdom, High Priest, and Executioner of the wicked.

The Truth is the fact that Jesus was sent down from heaven to die for "our" sins so we didn't have to.
When ppl say that they know The Truth and their intention is to teach others The Truth, what they mean is that they are following God's Word and trying to get many ppl to know The Truth. Get a Bible and read the Gospel of John. Just reading about Jesus and what he went thru for us is "Love".

Truth has value to it a lie (opposite of truth) holds no value.

Honesty has value - dishonesty holds no value.

Satan works thru people he is the father of all lies. He cannot tell an absolute truth...sure he can tempt but temptation clouds one only long enough to fall flat on one's face.

Remember the sayings "It will all come out in the wash some day" or "what comes around goes around". Those both hold true for living in the truth as God lovingly parents or the choice of living in the lie as Satan tells us to do. We are born with God-given gift of free will to make choices. Since Satan represents all that is unpure I choose to take advice from God and as much as I can get my hands on...sure I stumble but I fell off my bike one day and split my chin open even though I was told wait while my grandfather checked the time. I was being taught to ride my bike. The training wheels just came off. When a child defies their authority figure the child defies God first ...this is what I call double trouble and yes, I fell flat on my face and to-date I bare the scar of that defiance. Riding a bike wasn't the problem it was defiance that landed me a chin full of stitches not to mention the fact I missed a sunflower project in school I was looking forward to. Living a lifestyle of defiance has proven time and time again not to work out and I challenge anyone to prove me wrong. Controlling...no I'm sharing.

How do we know who are authority figures truly are as a child and even as an adult.....easy if it's not biblical turn away from what is being forced upon you. There is not one experience or subject that is exluded from the Bible - loving instruction on how to live...it's a gift. To some God's written word is stern...like our parents but hey that's covered too. Parenting is also addressed in the Bible. Taking on any worldly theories concerning that job will also come out in the wash some day. This is not an excuse to blame our parents because at the same time God speaks to children as well...life is completely covered in the Bible.

The position or problem of man. We are sinners, in need of a savior, due to the penalty of our sins. If you want to be saved from eternal death, and separation from God, you can choose to believe in Jesus, and what he did on the cross. This is what we were created for, and deep down, we desire it, but have just come so separated by it for various reasons. You ever hear about people always searching for something, that one thing they can never quite grasp, like they know there is more out there, and hope SO bad to find it. There is a reason for this.......something VERY worth thinking about, and not worth denying.....

It is the opposite of all human error(s) and fills all space. It is spiritual and is Spirit. Truth is God. A life's work is finding and understanding (truth).

Then they are probably lying. I would be very suspicious if someone said that they knew the truth. I prefer to keep my own council.
