You have the right to choose your religion and even make declarations that part of USA is formerly owned by Aztecs. But the government has the right to declare that the land you are claiming is part of the state.

If you believe this did aztec wons this land how are they to even begin pay back the money used to pay Mexico for the land. They did get money. Today they would have to pay all that money back with interest. It's a not as one sided as you desire it to be

Why would you have to qualify for religious amnesty if you were BORN an American citizen?
So your family members want to come? NO they cannot claim religious amnesty in the US. You are only allowed to claim religious amnesty if you WERE BEING persecuted in your native country, based on your religious beliefs ... or if you have reason to believe you WILL BE persecuted there if you return. Neither of those is true in this case.
