i live in milton fla,yahoo said it would be down from 5;30pm to 7;30 pm pst i am not in that time zone why?

in not in that time zone and its 11;00pm central time here why cant i get on yahoo messenger

Yahoo is based in the Pacific Time Zone - so uses that rather than really confuse people with GMT.

Florida should be on Eastern time - which means that yahoo should be back up in about thirty minutes for you.

you don't have to be in that time zone.pst means pacific standard time.it refers to the time on the west coast.5:30 pm pst will be 8:30 est.we are 3 hours ahead of west coast.
