Yak Rider is correct. It is possible that the conditional green card holder can apply for and receive permanent status if the applicant can prove that he or she entered into the marriage in good faith, and it was the petitioner who caused the breakdown or failure.

nope!!! the conditional green card is a way they have to make sure you're with your wife for love and not for papers and if you separate from your wife you won't get the permanent card because you will need her signature!!
good luck!!!
