Atheists are usually the first to say, they become worm food, they become nothing, and that is the end. They say this is reality, and that they are the few that accept it as such. Most people know, or have some kind of gut feeling, that there is more to this life, than living or dying, or trying to make it through the day. They say it is to make them less fearful of death, and reality, etc. I say, its a lot harder to be a christian sometimes, than it would be to ever be an atheist. It is not a walk in the park all the time. Lots of other reasons point to God, not many of them, based on happy wishful thinking.

i replaced into born an atheist, a twin of each and anybody else who has ever been born. My ideas replaced into poisoned with non secular fantasy at a very youthful age with techniques from the persons I loved and relied on the most. It took virtually 3 a lengthy time period to undo the wear that replaced into performed with techniques from those human beings. i'm now fantasy loose, very a lot hostile to non secular fantasy in all its kinds, and that i will strive against to carry it to an end till the day that I die, so as that the international must be a more advantageous suited position for destiny generations.

Dead end. Oh, by the way, the funeral is for the benefit of the living. Even if you take a religious perspective, the "soul" of the person isn't there. Just a grotesque pile of meat filled with chemicals. How weird is that!?

For whom: The deceased or those left behind? For a deceased atheist; yea, a definite dead end because there is no pleasant after-life for those who died without the Lord. Dona G.

Every time I go to a funeral it makes me cry even more when I hear people saying that the deceased is "in a better place now" or "with Jesus". They try to take away their grief with lies. Let's just deal with it without the lies and we'll become stronger people for it.
