This sounds great in theory i guess, however dosn't work to well in practice. Don't try to cut all the fat out of your diet-especially if it dosnt feel right for you. The human body does need some healthy fats for optimum health - there's no doubt about that.(eg. can include some nuts/seeds/virgin oils/small amount of butter/& some lean meats and some dairy as well).

i have known some vegans(eat no animal products) who in the long term seem to struggle with some serious health issues.

Everyone is different, when it comes to diets, but the best advice i think is to eat mainly whole, minimally processed foods and LISTEN to your body. eg. if you really feel like a serving of animal product, then more than likely your body actually needs the nutrients found in some eggs, or fish, lean meats etc.

When eating healthy balanced diet(plenty of fruits and veg) your body will naturally be at its healthiest and will maintain a lean physique. If you start to cut too many things out of your diet(especially if your body is craving for them) you'll normally won't be able to stick to that particular diet anyway and will be asking for trouble in the long run.

good luck

It doesn't seem logical whrn even a raw diet which is said to be the healthiest form of eating is a diet that has fat. you aren't supposed to completely Cut fat out of your diet, just limit the intake. There are healthy fats like nuts, avocado that you don't eat in excess but should contribute to your diet. I think whereever you heard that ... they are just trying to start another impossible diett fad that's going to make people more depressed when it doesn't work.

Have you been there for Thanksgiving earlier than? What I might advocate is when you had, attempt to bear in mind what they served different years. My mother makes candy potatoes, mashed potatoes, corn, peas, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and the turkey. I simply bear in mind what she makes, and... I devour round what I cannot. I might advocate that as a substitute of constructing your possess meal there, possibly convey your self a sidedish for you and every body else to devour. It's now not too horrid, or unhealthy of an revel in. If you are fairly that concerned, simply inform them you've got emerge as a Vegan... Nothing hurts. They invited YOU over, so... they are going to most of the time be extra then joyful to cater for your demands.
