I've heard different ages and really don't know.

I think you are asking this question in the wrong category. I don't know exactly which category would be more appropriate - maybe Law & Ethics; however, "senior citizen" age varies depending on the company or government department you are asking. It ranges anywhere from 55 to 60 to 65. Some stores and restaurantes give seniors discounts for age 55 and some for 60 and most for 65. All depends.

I would have to say, you would have to go with the age you must reach to collect Social Security. which is 62.
I am 75 and I know I am a Senior Citizen.

It depends upon the context. For senior housing, it's 55(+). For social security, it is either 62 (early retirement) or 65.

You are right. It is different ages.

There are 2 movie theaters in my town. At one, the age for cheaper tickets is 55 and at the other theater the age for cheaper tickets is 65.

It is 65 but some stores recognize 55 for some discounts. Not too many of them.
