Because religion is faith based, the rules of logic are rarely applied (although theologians have written tens of thousands of pages trying to explain inconsistencies in their particular religious text(s))

And as a faith based structure any form of 'proof' inherently violates the 'logic' of the religion.

Anyway - the final answer is that you cannot prove that one faith is right...

My personal belief is that they are either all correct or all invented mythologies with some sort of historical origins as the start point of the myth.

And a key point that is rarely mentioned in this debate is that the derivation of all religions were polytheistic.

Christianity, Islam, Mormons, etc all derive from Judaism.

The original beliefs of Judaism were a faith in their god over all others - not that there was only one god... the monotheistic element developed later.

And was then turned bitheistic with the creation of Satan - to explain why there was evil in a world created by a good god...

Just my .01

Awesome question...

Actually the Christian Essenes agree with other religions, They believe in Karma, Reincarnation, and Vegetarianism. This is the original Church that Jesus Belonged to. Read the Gospel of the Nazirenes. Edited and Restored with Historical Documentation by Alan Wauters and Rick Van Wyhe. This is the Bible they found in a cave near the dead sea from when the Essenes went into hiding being they where being killed by non believers of Christ. This text was found recently and now is available to all . One can actually see where King Constantine took out so much from the Bible on the above topics to control the citizens. This is the original Bible before Constantine's reign.

You obviously dont know much about Islam do you?... We (muslims) dont say Christians are all wrong.. In fact, there are verses in the Quran that tell us to respect "people of the book" ie: Christians and Jews because the prophets Moses and Jesus are messengers of God (Allah) and are to be respected by muslims also.. We cannot call ourselves muslims unless we respect and beleive in all the prophets of God... We know the original messages of those prophets are true.. Just that some sayings have been corrupted down through history by word of mouth, not being written down ver batem by the prophet during their walk on earth.. Years of hearsay can distort truths... We do believe in the true message of Jesus and Moses... We dont believe in the trinity or that Jesus is of devine orgin.. He is a gread prophet of God, but a mere human only..

It comes down to this: whichever religion is right, that means all the rest are wrong. If Buddhism is right, then Isalm, Hinduism, Judaism etc. are all wrong. If Islam is right, then Buddhism, Hinduism etc. are all wrong, and so on.

So, in order to draw a logical conclusion as to which religion is true, we must look at several lines of evidence.

We must examine the various religious texts in regard to their:

Historical accuracy

Scientific accuracy

Prophetic accuracy

If one takes the necessary time and effort to honestly examine the facts, the Bible alone passes all three tests.

The Bible can be demonstrated to be of super-natural origin and 100% reliable. And it is in the Bible that we see eyewitness accounts of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
It is His resurrection that validates the Christian faith.

I can't. And I don't need to. You have to prove something to yourself.

People have been shown scientific facts before in the past, and refused to believe the results, simply because they didn't want to accept it. Einstein could not accept Neils Bohrs findings on a very personal level. The science is indisputable. The logic? Inescapable. But he simply refused to believe it.

For anything to be believed, it must be rational. Logical. Reasonable. I have learned in my life to set aside what others believe, set aside what others want to tell me a book, like the Bible says, and just read it for myself to see what it says. Usually, they are two different things.

Allah, Buddha are both dead, Jesus alone rose from the dead and is seated at the right hand of the Father. There is enough proof people just don't want to see it.

Proof. That is a fundamental, no? But, yet, for thousand of years it has been argued with no winner. Maybe one will come up here.

I don't NEED to "prove" that I'm right to anyone. I have faith in my God and that is enough for me.
