Yes, when we thought our youngest daughter had cancer, and I was at work, and one of my dearest friends (who just happens to be a Jehovah's Witness) asked me what was wrong and I confided in her. Well the next day waiting on my desk when I arrived at work was a card from her with a poem she wrote, expressing her compassion and love and her prayer support for us and my daughter. I immediately went to her and thanked her and before we knew it, we were both hugging and crying. She's truly one of the sweetest people I know even though our faiths clash greatly. I simply adore her, and love her for her gesture of love.

I do remember during probably the deepest crisis of my life, praying, crying my eyes out. Asking for someone to simply help me, that I just felt . . . .
RINNNGGGGG
Telephone rings. I quickly say Amen, answer it and hear:
"You know, I don't know why I was thinking of you D____, but I just needed to call you and let you know how much I think about you, and how much I love ya big guy"; it was my spiritual "mentor" in life. It was also about 11:35 pm. About 3 hours past when this guy usually goes to bed.

Yes my local Priest. I had gone through a very bad divorce both mentally and physically and Fr Hanna was always there when I needed help. He was my rock and helped me to believe in God during this period. I thank God every day.

Yes. When my father passed away, the entire family was extremely upset over his unexpected death and the fact that my father had been experiencing so much anxiety over his condition during his stay at the hospital. The priest who spoke at his viewing then told us that he had a conversation with my father about death one of the times he came to visit my father. the priest was stunned when my father told him that he was prepared for death. Father Charles said to him, "Are you sure, Thomas? I am not ready for death.", and my father simply replied, "Sorry for you, Father, but I am ready".
Just knowing that my father was spiritually prepared and comfortable with the fact that he was ready to die brought forth a peace of mind that enveloped myself and my family.

My friend, who's Wiccan, told me that I must find my own path to comfort, no one else can find it for me. And then she let me come to her to ask questions about her religion, instead of tried to push it on me.
