And yes, that is the smart answer. There are too many diseases out there that even with condoms, the protection is limited. Had a young lady last week with genital herpes. Always had protection during intercourse, but, contracted it from her partner.
Guys and Gals, be careful out there. there are lots of diseases that are not forgiving and can take their toll on your health. There is wisdom in the old saying, " save yourself for Mr or Mrs right". And then be safe.

There are no guarantee's in life. Whether you're in a relationship or married. Every decision carries a possibility of risk and or consequence. Because there are so many diseases out there I think it's best you take your time in getting to know who you are dating, take time and get to know yourself. Of course you're gonna use protection but really focus on a building a friendship and getting to know the real person inside and out. There should be no rush to be physical with anybody ever and I think this is very realistic considering the possibility of what could happen and if you rush and make a poor choice. I think it should be a norm also to get tested every 3-6 months in dating relationship should you ever choose to not use protection. Remember there is no one that is more deserving of your love and protection than yourself thus you should be fully aware of all you are getting into before you give yourself, your most prized possession to anyone.

Interesting answer - "personally I think you only live once and why get old regretting the things you didn't do" - what, like get genital herpes which is incurable? Contracting HIV which is incurable? Is this something we should be regretting we didn't do???
Young woman, you have your head on straight so stick to your guns. This is your life, your decision. I would never regret not having died from a disease I could've easily avoided.

It isbest to be celibate, it is morrally correct and wil show yourself self repect for your body... When you get married your husband does not want to find out that you have slept with every Tom, Dick and Harry who entered your life. Be proud of yourself for abstaining, do not let peer pressure bring you down, be strong you are worth it! Take care of yourself and God bless.

That's why it's always a good idea to practice safe sex. Condoms, for example are almost crucial. Getting tested and staying on top of your STD checks is another crucial element that will allow you to have a safe and happy sex life.

Or, you could die at the ripe old age of 19. You won't have much to regret...BECAUSE YOU PROBABLY DIDN'T HAVE THE CHANCE TO DO MUCH OTHER THAN HAVE SEX WITH SOME SCUZ.
