I truly believe in GOD and also that GOD was once a man, doesn't it say he created us within his own image. I read the bible at times, and in many he sounds so emotional the way mosess and other prophets describe his ways. Is God the father, Jesus Christ the son, and the holy spirit individual beings? Because if there is a father and a son should there be a heavenly mother? isn't it throuhg the power of the Holy spirit that God possesed created this world? Search in Proverbs chapter 8 there's some evidence. Who ever this woman of wisdom or in greek (sofia), there somehting else here in the bible we need to start searching for.

Wow! You are just full of Mormon Doctrine!God was never a man as we are.The Bible all the way though teaches He always was and will be.
Compare Genesis 1,John 1,and Collosians 1,and you'll see how all 3 are present at creation. At that time all 3 were spirit.Jesus was the only one who took on a tent of human flesh. The Trinity is not 1+1+1=3 gods but 1x1x1=1 God in 3 persons. There is no mother god that's the oldest heresy in religion. That goes all the way back to Semiramis and Isis and as far forward as trying to deify Mary the mother of Jesus.Wisdom is just an allegory, calm down with that one.

It says Jesus was the "firstborn of all creation" and that God came to us in the flesh...indeed it is a mystery, but the Bible does not speak of a heavenly mother. Ancient Hebrew (the language of the old testament) is a gender-based language (like spanish/italian) where each word has a masculine orfeminine form. The word for God is "Jehovah" which is one of, if not the only word that has no gender assignment to it.

I honestly think that the Big 3 religions (judaism, christianity, and islam) were created specifically without a prominent female because they wanted a change from the more female oriented religions of the past so that they could get the political power that they needed. In fact, I have heard that originally Jesus was born of a stone and Mary was only added in the 13th century to help convert the French, who had a very strong Mother figure in their hearts and faith. So I don't think you will find the feminine you are looking for in the Bible.
I think the Trinity is not talking of Jesus specifically. I think Jesus really meant it when he said He was the son of God and we are all God's Children. I think the trinity is God, Us (in our spiritual essence) combined in our Human Form.
Peace!

I often remember Jesus speaking to the disciples before leaving them. Jesus said he had so much he *wanted* to tell them. There is so much more we will learn about God.
The biblical Greek uses a feminine pronoun for the holy spirit.
Our understanding of the Trinity is limited at best. We should know by now that God is beyond gender and beyond our full comprehension. We have to seek to understand God in small ways by looking at aspects of God. The Trinity is one such method.

Yes God is love and love means Relationship. Everything in this world is a perverted reflection of the Absolute world. He has an eternal consort or Goddess, also known as Sri Radha or Hare She is his spiritual energy and internal potency. The Bhagavad-Gita gives details on this knowledge. Though the trinity means God the father in heaven, the son (self explanatory) and holy Ghost is God situated in the heart of the son In the Vedas He is called the Super Soul. sitting next to our soul in our heart. He has a form with hands legs etc. One can see Him unannounced to most Christians though. His original Name is Krishna and He has enumerable names such as Allah, Jehovah, Rama, Vishnu etc.

TRYING TO COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND GOD AND HIS WAYS IS BEYOND OUR MORTAL COMPREHENSION. THE FACT THAT HE LOVES US SO MUCH THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON TO PAY FOR OUR SINS SAYS IT ALL. EVERY DAY I PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME BECAUSE OF HIS LOVE. KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS OUR TEMPORARY LIFE AND THE ONE TO FOLLOW OUR PERMANENT ONE. HEAVEN OR HELL, THAT QUICK, NO SECOND CHANCES. IM SURE AT THAT POINT , WHEN WE WALK THROUGH THE GATES OF HEAVEN ALL OUR QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED.
IN JESUS NAME, GOD BLESS
