The 6.0 liter version is crap. The 6.4 liter will be out in Feb 07 as an 08 model. Best not to get one the first year of production so as to take advantage of the introductory bugs being identified and resolved. But if you must have one right away look for a 7.3 liter - however you'll pay a premium for it, because the owners of them know how valuable they are and are hanging on to them until Ford gets its act together.

well it depends on what ya mean by powerstroke, yes its the model of diesel used by ford in its 3/4 ton an up truck, in either 3.0/6.4/or 7.3 litres of displacement. it is also the part of the engine cycle ( both gas and diesel ) in which ignition occurs to the fuel, and forces the piston back down,creating horsepower/torque.
