You can put the food down for a starter and get up and get some exercise.

Does your campus have a gym?

You can still do some cardio & strength without a gym, but you will need to set a consistent routine.

Drink Water!

Start easy & work your way into workouts that are more challenging.

If you have any medical conditions, consult a doctor before starting a work out!

Drink Water! Stay Hydrated! No soda, so sugary snacks, no pastries! Eat SMART! Do web searches on NUTRITION!

Journal your workouts, weight, how you feel & what you eat for a least a week! It's better if you do it a month. Then you can go back and look at trends in your behavior and start getting rid of those things that don't work for you.

Use this web-site's search function for weight loss, there have been a lot of great suggestions given in past answers.

Drink Water! Try and find a friend at college who you can work out with. Eat a good breakfast, eat SMART snacks, eat a light nutritious lunch, Drink Water all day long - stay hydrated! Eat a SMART snack! Eat an early, light dinner.

Keep reading up on nutrition and exercise. See if your college library has any books or magazines on the subject. Educate yourself on how to get in shape & stay healthy!

Expect it to take a while & make it a lifelong commitment!

DO not try any pills. Don't mess with your health. Diet pills can affect your heart and do some serious damage.
The moviestar diet is a scam. There is no good diet if it says it is fast. You gain it all back and double. Be wise please.

Go to www.sparkpeople.com
It is a healthy way to lose weight and it is a free site. It's like having your private nutritionist.
You type in how much you want to lose and by when etc...and they plan out your meals so you can achieve your goal. They have a calorie counter and everything. Plus they give you a fitness plan according to what type of exercising you like to do. It is free with support from the members and a real neat site.
Enjoy!

God Bless!

This is a repost of an earlier answer I gave. Not spam, I just don't feel like typing it all over again:

Best way is, for an apetite suppressant, drink at least 8 full cups of water or more a day. And take the herb Hoodia. You can get it at your local health food store, and possibly your supermarket. Don't take any other crap, anything else is bad for you. Just take the Hoodia stuff, sometimes it's mixed with green tea, which is fine. It comes in pills or capsules, and will run you about 50 cents to a dollar per day. Works very well when taken according to label directions.

In conjunction with the Hoodia, go on a 100% raw 100% vegan diet. No animal products, no sugar or sugar substitutes, no coffee, but maybe you can have some white and/or green tea every day. You can juice fresh raw vegetables and fruits, if you drink the juice immediately after juicing it. (If you wait more than 15 minutes to drink it, all the natural enzymes in it will die, and it will be much less good for you.) You can eat fresh raw vegetables, fruits, beansprouts, nuts, roots, greens, edible flowers, anything that comes from a plant as long as it's not sugar cane or poisonous. You can pretty much stuff yourself on this diet, and you won't become obese. It is also good to cure or help treat many ills, and can get rid of acne and other skin conditions. If a person needs to lose weight fast, they will on a 100% raw 100% vegan diet, as long as they don't cheat. This diet won't fail, if you stick to it.

Also try to walk two or three miles a day, depending on how overweight you are. If you are more than 200 pounds, I would start with 1 or 2 miles a day, and go from there.

Be well.

There are many people who have chosen to go on this diet, and stay on it for life. Thats perfectly fine as long as you take a one-a-day vitamin/mineral preparation, just to cover all your bases.

go running or walkng and opt for salad instead of chinese food in the cafeteria. The same dieting rules apply eat less excercise more you're just going to have to be inventive. Your school should have a free gym, if no the Y-mca offers really cheap memberships. If you can't afford that then workout videos and excercising outdoors like running uphill or doing pull up on the money bars. Buy a shape or fitness magazine and they'll give you more tips.

Eat lots of fruits, veggies, etc...drink water or a glass of milk in between meals when you are hungry.... sleep for 8-10 hours....& dont pig out on junk food........or dont starve yourself....by doin that ull be forcing ur body to get by on low calories & ur body will start storing up fats in all the wrong places ;) !! Eat when you are hungry but eat in moderation & try to keep fresh raw veggies at hand always...

Exercising is really important too...skipping, cycling, running are cool...dont go for swimming very often.....try crunches, pull ups, sit ups, n push ups...search the net for a good exercise program........

Yes, I lost 20lbs this month by doing two things. Changing my diet from pizza to low fat sea-food and lean chicken and biking 15-20 miles every other day and yes my legs and butt are sore as hell.
