My question is why can a guy get away with cancelling at the last minute and should I believe him when he says he is sorry and ask me by text can we talk tomorrow.

something might have came up. dont condemn him for one cancelled date. give him another chance

You must think positive now ,There should be many reasons that make him to cancel with you .Remember it can happen to you too ,and in a relation we have to be understanding!

If he cancels alot, then he is playing games and you should not waste anymore time on him.

What is the reason he gave why he cancelled your date with him. I think it is not proper. But if his reason is valid accept his apology. Otehrwise, find another one.

He said sorry. Atleast he didn't say he cant do it after it was supposed to start.

If he bails out on you a lot...You need to watch him... or drop him...If it this once... give him a chance.. maybe he did have some thing
