'Super' van refers to the length (it is extended)
'Heavy Duty' (also known as 'Super Duty') refers to the suspension. IE: E150= 1/2 ton...E250=3/4ton...E350=1ton.

Just like our pick up trucks, the F150, F250, F350, etc

Yes they are e-250 is a 3/4 ton van and the e-350 is a one ton van. If the trucks had a F as in F-250 it would be a pick up truck.

i imagine its the notorious ford solenoid. from the front, fixed to the left section. its round, appears like a bicycles dynamo. I had it bumped off in an previous Lincoln, (connect the wires direct, meaning, completely with techniques from exceeded it). no matter if that is an identical one, my vehicle did ok without it.
