Im a brunette, and i know that the color hair growing from your scalp has absolutly nothing to do with intelligence! Some blondes seem to push the envelope on pretending they are stupid to fit into the stereotype, but on the inside hair color makes no difference onceowhever.

Well, most of the "blondes" I know who act like "dumb blondes"... are not ACTUALLY blonde at all (if you catch my drift). I'm blonde and my IQ is above 140.

I think there are smarter people and also those who aren't so bright within every group -- whether it's blondes, brunettes, Catholics, protestants, blacks, whites, or whatever...

edit: P.S. People shouldn't take out their own insecurities on others who they imagine have somehow wronged them. You may think they did, but it's all in your own little heads. That goes for every brunette who gets some ridiculous satisfaction out of blonde "jokes." It's really not much different than racism -- baseless stereotyping to make oneself feel better because he or she feels threatened by what is perceive as "superior."

Another stereotype. Doesn't matter if your a natural blonde, or bottle blonde - I don't see how it affects a person's intellectual. However, I've noticed that many fake blonde celebrities are dumb, but that's not true for everyone. I find that some girls actiually look better blonde, especially if they had mousy hair.

people call blondes dumb by using fact unn the early 20s people placed blondes in idiotic roles. i think of people call blondes dumb by using fact they are continually those out having exciting and tring to make the better of lives. people merely won't be able to settle for that. Ask Paris Hilton or Britney spears for his or her opinion, which could help.

In some cases yes but realistically, no. I know blondes but they and I (brunette) have the same ammount of "blonde moments".
I hate it how movies portray blondes as being ditsy.

Well i'm a blond and I hate it when people just assume where dumb. Some blonde girls just act dumb because they think guys think it's hot. And it gives all of us a bad rep. So no, I don't think blondes are dumb.

No! It is people that keep making dumb blond jokes that have the intelligence problem.

By the way -- I'm a brunette.

No they are not dumber. But they do however pretend to be dumb (Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, Kellie Pickler from American Idol) because they think that men find it cute. It is not cute. It is embarrassing to women.

nope
they simply use their hair to an advantage, giving off the message that they are "not as smart" (actually, they do not try to send out this idea, it is merely naturally associated with them), when, in actuality, they are the smartest. It's just fun to whip out some knowledge on some shallow person who thinks your idiot. :)
