I looked at some of the answers that you got, I guess it does not surprise me anymore. ) :

If Christians can turn off the world, the TV, the radio, and the music CD's for long enough to reflect on your really great question.

Jesus is the unifying issue. Along with the Holy Spirit who can teach us and guide us to the God of Understanding; The God of Wisdom; we can do HIS work. Not the work of 'the job' , the issues of the homeless, the war on drugs, the war on terrorism, but getting connected with God. Spending time with Him.

All those other issues that are supposedly are important, they will change to us. Our unifying issue being Jesus Christ, and what He will do and has done for us.

I figure that we are partially successful in this, because many will accuse us all of spreading Christianity. But the answers that do not reflect this answer: That Jesus Christ is who we keep our eyes on (Hebrews 12), we are left with the hollow worldly influence on our perspective and we begin to lose the flavor of what we are supposed to be; The Salt of the Earth.

Jesus prayed in John 17, and He will get His prayer answered, I just hope that I am doing my part here. I hope.

The issues should be the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. No more and no less. To many people are looking at the different religions and not the one the other religions are worshiping. As someone who has no specific religion,IE. Catholic, Episcopalian, etc I can see the issue is not Jesus but a name. A name of the Church or organization that worships the same Lord and Savior as they do. The disciples had this same problem but Jesus said let them alone, whoever is not against me is for me. Be thankful they worship the Lord and not Satan. Rejoice and be glad singing praises for this.

Well, by definition I believe that all Christians follow Christ's example, but I think you're asking more about social justice issues.

Sadly, Christians do not agree on these issues because there are two specific camps. The first group believes that everything is predestined, in which case you do *not* mess with God's perfect plan. The second group believes that prayer can change things and Christians can make choices that cause good things to happen. For these people, it is God's command to give people mercy and grace whenever they can.

Well if you are not speaking of Doctrine, but rather worldly issues I say yes. Fulfilling the Great Commission to preach the Gospel and win the lost over to Christ. Helping the widows, orphans, homeless, and downtrodden etc...

Doctrine wise we should all believe Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin. Was blameless and died on the Cross and resurrected on the third day (not a spirit) There are more I am sure but these are the biggest I believe.

There are issues and facts that should bring all Christians together because as they are understood in a spiritual sense, then any seeming division of Christians would vanish. The fertile ground of division is the Word taken in a literal or material sense.

How about unify all religions. The Krishna Consciousness Movement is completely nonsectarian and believe in Jesus as the Pure son of God and Krishna is God the Father. Truth is Truth no matter what religion. (Krishna Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc.) One God many names. How about one world religion. go to stephen-knapp. for universal truths.

the fact that we are saved by the blood of Jesus should be enough, I always thought.

But perhaps the only thing that will is the rapture.
