How long is a Bible generation, some say 40 years some say 70 years.

Israel was born on May 15,1948 but some believe that the end of the 6 day war started the generation count down. other believe the count down started in 1948 plus 70 years or 2018 less 7 years 2011. If you take 1967 plus 70 years = year 2038 BUT if 1967 plus 40 years, YEAR 2007 ends the generation and the 7 year countdown will start next year?

How long is a generation and did Israel start in 1948 or 1967 , is a generation 40 or 70 years.

No man knows the day nor the hour!

Plus to G-d a day as is a thousand years and a thousand years as is a day! Translation? He doesnt operate on our clock. Eternal time is circular, ours is linear.

Timely question. Jerusalem,Temple Mount once again under
Jewish hands 1967.It had been 2500 yrs since it was under Jewish control.
Both of your statements tell me you have been studying Bible.
40 yrs from 1967--2007 will be A Year of great interest.
I do not know The "Day" or hour But the Middle East condition
coupled with Unexplainable weather patterns and the push for peace.,but there is so much war,If Man continues building
weapons,God will intervene to keep man from destroying Earth.I can only say "Keep Looking Up"

You asked for a biblical generation, let's calculate it:

Matt 1:17 ... fourteen from the Babylonian exile to the Messiah.

Babylonian exite 586 BC and Messiah 4 BC = 41.57 or 42 years.
