That's an insulting way of putting it. Using "atheist" as a plural of "atheist", the same as the singular, as though atheists were animals like deer, bear, or bison. Christians are a bunch of donkey, or rather, donkeys.
Actually, atheists make company with Christians because there are so many Christians around, at least in the US it's that way. In most contacts with others, religious beliefs don't get in the way. One can do business with a person regardless of their religious affiliation. It's only when people start injecting God and Jesus into the public realm that problems can arise.

we at the instant are not right here to annoy you adult males or attempt and rigidity you to do something. We purely like others have our very own evaluations and we relish sharing them--besides, there is not something that restricts that's there? additionally, while we ask our Christian questions, atheists troll up the full website so we at the instant are not the only ones at so called "faught" right here. and additionally, the Bible does not say something approximately kicking dirt out of your shoe-- it says "to pass into the international and carry forth the gospel." So, how approximately somewhat of bashing Christians because of the fact which you do not have confidence what we do, do purely not pay any interest. often i may well be doing the full "you could convert to Christianity" element by using now yet thinking your feellings, i'm not because of the fact which you curiously do not prefer to have something to do with it. thank you.

It's obviously because we really want to be Christians but can't bring ourselves to admit that we were wrong. Damn, you found us out. I guess it's for the best though, I don't have to hide it anymore. It's a great burden lifted off my shoulders.
Personally I have very few Christian friends. I'd say that 85% of my friends are either agnostic or Atheist. I just can't identify with someone who takes their guidance from the Bible instead of logically deciding for themselves.

lol. I can't stand the company of Christians. But see, I'm Wiccan and I do enjoy the company of Wiccans. Unfortunately, most of them are terrified to post here because every time they say anything they're immediately bombarded with ignorant Christians saying "You need to find god" and preaching.
If you haven't noticed, this is the Religion and Spirituality forum, not the Christianity only forum.

Deep inside they know God's real, of course, and they want to be closer to Him, but they're too proud, or vain, or afraid, to surrender to Him. They remind me of shipwrecked people in the water who can't climb into a lifeboat because they refuse to let go of the little stick of wood they're clinging to. That's my impression, anyway.

Its fascinating to see people so deluded. They believe anything other than the truth. And to see such rampant hypocrisy is a rare thing. The only one of the 10 commandments that most of them seem to be able to abide by is "Thou shalt not kill", the rest they ignore with fanatical dedication.
Apart from that theyre a complete pain.

I don't think it's a matter of their religion. I am friends with people because of their personality, not their faith or lack thereof. I have to be around SOME Christians because my family is Christian.
If you are trying to insinuate something about us being on the R&S board, though...I don't think that's the reason any atheists are here.

In my experience, they really don't. It is a time to try and find something wrong with me, criticize me based on my belief. My Father is an atheist----that was an enjoyable childhood........
