It should be portable because that person is going to move it around from place to place. We don't need any TV cable hookup or anything. The monitor should be at least 20" and preferably LCD. Are there any that have the DVD built in? Ugh, I feel so ignorant! thanks

If you're definitely going to be using DVDs only I would look for a TV that has a native EDTV (Enhanced Definition) resolution. Enhanced definition is the ideal definition for DVD playback, any higher (HDTV) will require an upscale (the TV has to enlarge the image and it gets distorted) and any lower will require a downscale (TV doesn't have enough pixels to show the whole picture so it has to get rid of some). EDTVs might be a little hard to find, but if you're able to find one, I bet you'd be able to find a great deal and the ideal picture quality.
