I hate it how some have put Christians all in one catagory. Your no longer a Christian, you are a member of the "religeous right". Well There are things that I agree and disagree with on both sides. I don't think it is right to involve Christianity in politics unless it is in regard of our religeous freedom. If someone doesn't believe in God fine! But the Government should never step in and say I don't have the freedom to worship God. In that case I would vote for the one who is for giving me religeous rights. Whether they are democrat or republican doesn't matter. Alot of Republicans have a corrupt religeous agenda. And some in the far left want to do away with religion entirely. So, I vote for what makes sense. But I don't need to force my views on others. All I ask is that we have the freedom to worship as we please!

This is as far as religion is concerned. I would also consider economical factors.

Yes. (Many) Christians in America, like (many) Muslims in Iraq, can no longer tell the difference between their religion and their political views.

We all do have the right to practice our religion as we wish as long as it doesn't harm anyone else in doing it. The people you refer to as trying to put someone or some group in a certain category are usually referring to these TV preachers who I think are nothing but a money scam anyway. I am Christian and I attend church. I am a very devout believer in God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit. People like most of these television preachers are in it for the bucks. They spend 5 minutes preaching and 20 minutes begging for money.

Christianity + Politics = Religion

Politics + Religion = Corruption

Christianity + Religion = False doctrine or Denominalationism

Corruption + Religion = False doctrine or Denominalationlism

False doctrine + Corruption + Religion = Nonchristianity

Christianity = Word of GOD + Holy Spirit + Body of Christ Therefore No False doctrine. No Religion. No corruption.

1TI 4:16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.

Sorry. If "Christianity" is pushed with religion, then it's not the same thing. You don't "Push" the the Bible on somebody. You "Talk" to him about it. Now should he/she grow interest, then I'll gladly mention a few things, blah blah blah. But If they say "No" then I say "Cool." But I don't let them get in the way of what I believe. If I speak out about it, that's just who I am.

It is not right indeed to mix religion and politics. Remember, "Give to God what is God's and give to Cesar what is Cesar's."

Yes and no. We need representation, as much as any other group does. It is what is proposed and considered that makes it awkward
