Three words- GET A TRAINER / BREAKER ! If you can't identify what's going wrong- you can't fix it. No horse is mean, they don't have motives like we do. Horses live for three things- food, sex and socialisation. We provide those things and in return we get to modify their behaviour. If you don't communicate properly, he will get the wrong idea about what you want, get frustrated and try to escape.
Get someone to help you or sell it- don't keep this horse the way you are going. Not only is it dangerous for you, but for the horse too.

My parents own a stables and I am the one that breaks the horses. I would tie him up with a lead rope with a metal hook instead of the easy brass hooks. . .the brass are easy to break when he pulls away. When he pulls away he is only fighting himself. When he gets tired of fighting himself talk to him and slowly walk up to him carring the saddle and let him smell it with wide eyes so his nose brushes across it. The same with the blankets. Then gradually put the saddle on his back (dont let the sturps fall and slap him in the side) that will spoke him. Just be very careful and slow. Dont tighten the saddle completely. Then get a long lead rope and a whip and run him. I have a round pen at my house where I pop the whip on the ground so they here the sound. If they arent broke then they dont understand when you want them to go and stop but they get the point when they hear the whip pop. If you do not have a round pen hold onto the rop good cause if he doesnt like the saddle he will more than likely buck. . .when he does and he is done run him again. He will get the point that you are going to keep the saddle on him and that even when he bucks and shows up he will not win. If you stop and let him win he will do it every time.

hon please learn to use spell check...would make it easier to understand what you are meaning...
i agree with your first answer, you need to start over a bit. maybe also check your saddle...it might not be fitting right. most people dont think of that, but most people dont have this huge saddle on their back with another person on it. did he gain weight since you were riding him regular? or lose alot of weight? those are major factors in saddle fitting, especially western saddles. how many times have you rode him lately? some horses if they are used to being ridden almost every day and then arent for a while will just have a few bugs to get out...mainly to let you know they arent happy now - they liked being ridden more. sounds like to me he doesnt need to be "rebroke", he needs attention as well as your other one...

If I were you I'd start at the beginning and start with some ground work. Another thing you might also do is try readjusting the saddle maybe you have it to tight and its bugging him underneath or something. Another thing you can do is carry some treats with you and work on his behavior. Show him the difference between good and bad behavior, reward him when he does something right give him a treat and pat his head and say good boy.

Like the others have said. Go over the basics, check your saddle. Also take your horse to a chiropracter, his back may be out. It could be a variety of different things.

Send him to a good cowboy who specializes in breaking horses-they are good at rehabing horses that have been able to get away with being bad! Please do this so your horse does not become dangerous. You actually send the horse away, ( like bootcamp)you and your equine friend will be much happier. He might even show you how to solve some of the problems yourself
