I need to build up my pull ups, running, push ups, and sit ups. Should I still be taking the protein mix? Thanks.

The average American diet has more than enough protein to sustain working out. You do need some protein in your diet to repair your muscles and connective tissue after the workout, but if you eat normally, you're probably already getting more than you need. Unless you're trying to pile on serious mass, or you're already on a protein-impoverished diet, you probably don't need the protein mix on top of what you normally eat.

But the best way to find out what your body needs is to experiment. Try it one way for a month, then switch. Keep a journal of what you do in your workouts and how you feel before, after, and the morning after working out. Then at the end of the two months, go back over your journals and see what you find out.

Yeah, a little muscle isn't going to make you pass out after a mile.

Probaly help you far more than it would hurt.

it won't hurt. it may speed up the production of muscles. just don't continue using it if you stop working out
