Hinduism is called Sanatana Dharma or "Eternal Duty" . Since Soul is eternal, the duty is also eternal.

There is no meaning of Evolution or Discovery in Sanatan Dharma. In Sanatana Dharma, Knowledge is got Directly from God and hence its Perfect and does not need any "Evolution".

However, this being the degraded age, there are people who think that they can give their Own Interpretations and make the Teachings of God "Better" ... If some one does that then - they either do not believe in God or they are utterly foolish.

Bhagavad Gita was compiled 3500 BC. Vedic Teachings date much much back, right from the creation of Universe (teaching to Brahma). The same Bhagavad Gita is still the main Text. We do not have "New Bhagvad Gita". At least it is not allowed by the proper Authorities of Vedic teachings.
