I am currently a brown belt, I want to move up to a black belt so badly! What can I do to show my karate teacher that I can really do it?

It's not your sensei you need to prove anything to,theres no hurry to get to black.Prove to yourself that you are worthy of EARNING your black belt.Be the belt dont let the belt be you?Also it's better to be a very good brown belt than a bad or even mediocre black belt.After all it's only a rank.

For about $15.00 you can have whatever color belt you desire.

As far as your teacher. If it were me, I would request a match. I would close the distance, take him to the mat and submit him. I would then take his belt and put it on.

Two choices, both will get you a black belt. But I do not know why you would want one. They mean very, very little.

attend every class n b punctual.practise all the cata's f @ least 1 hour a day.get into his good books somehow or the other n plead wid him.tell him u practise daily.then tell him u could prove it to him and show him what u got.

I really hope this will work f u b coz it worked f me.(not f the black belt though). Good luck!

practice footwork and hand work in front of tv and you will gradually improve. Karate is not in the belt its in the heart.

Attend class, practice and show your committment.
If you are having problems in a particular area, ask a senior member of your class to help you out before or after class.

Don't focus to much on the belt itself work on your techniques and help other who are striving to reach the level that you have obtained.
