Well that would depend on your body fat.
Many people have muscle and that tends to push a person weight number up the scales. If you have a body fat higher then 30 I would suggest some toning but not weight loss.
At 5'7" you are at a suggestable weight for that height. Just watch your body fat and keep it under 25, for a really healthy body.

If you are happy that's all that matters. Don't get obsessed with the BMI, it is only supposed to be used as a guide.
And besides, lots of bodybuilders are clinically overweight according to the BMI, due to their muscle mass. Very accurate gauge indeed...

sounds perfect. I'm jealous. go to webMD.com to find a weight/height calculator for the BMI. also, the only person who can truly tell you whether you're overweight, and actually know what they're talking about, is your doctor. jsut as long as you try to maintain a healthy diet and exercise, you'll be fine.

I think you are a nice size for you height. Don't let society define you. You have to be happy with yourself. When you are overweight you will know. You will be tired and uncomfortable. You will also feel heavy. I am about the same proportion. I use to be a toothpick and I was very unhappy. I don't like to see bones.

Our opinions shouldn't matter! It's what's in your heart that counts and what you think of your body. If you're a little concerned try eating a little healthier or exercising a little every now and then. But seriously for your height - you aren't "overweight"

I don't think so. Your just fine for a weight. People during highschool are mean and jealous. They will do anything to get you down.
