if you want a guy's perspective, dont seem desperate, just be yourself. dont frown or bash around him(try not to, for some people, it is very hard). a nice smile towards him wouldnt hurt, either

thats easy. be confident in yourself and keep yourself well groomed and cute. i always find if i feel like i look attractive then i have better confidence.
guys seem to be attracted to girls that arent needy but are confident, happy, and attractive.
also being a little flirty/smiley with him doesnt hurt anything.
