1. History will back up the facts that the people and locations of the movie "Amadeus" really did exist
2. The DVDs, scripts, CDs and other paraphernalia from the movie will back up that the movie existed and portrayed the story
3. Archeology will back up that Austria existed as it was portrayed at the time of Mozart
4. DVD integrity will keep better integrity than the hand copied translations made and edited by monks

So all of the same types of facts would be backed up in a historically accurate accounting of the movie Amadeus, but that doesn't mean that the story was true. There are thousands of FICTIONAL books that have historically accurate references, archaeological references, inter-book references, and all are maintained with integrity for generations. None of this means the characters actually existed or did what the account said--hence fiction.

Can't believe it if I can't read it. Use spell check. Not very credible. Just a point here, people will say what they are told for large sums of money. Put down the site you found the information on. It will make the question seem more believable. It has been said that the bible is a book of stories from the era. So, therefore, it would make sense that it is historically accurate. Does not mean, however, that the stories are true. As for number 4, some parts of the bible were changed during the translation into KJV.

truth. You ask a question with restricted area and then want information to help. what number information do you've time and area for? before each and every thing, the Bible has been used for geographic accuracy. second, it really is been used for archaeological accuracy. third, it really is been used for historic accuracy. The Bible suggested the earth became round about 700BC earlier astronomers knew it. Many have puzzled the Bible at cases even with the truth that those questions blow away. party, scientists puzzled even if the Hittites were a actual those who were suggested interior the Bible till archaeologists got here upon pictures and inscriptions at some web pages. The Bible has survived many tries at burying it or destroying it. i.e. the Romans, the Catholic Church, purges, and severe persecution of its adherents. The Romans were familiar for his or her tortures for 315 years yet Christianity depending on the Bible grew besides! i am going to signify 5 astonishing books that answer this authoritatively interior the source area. That technology is called Apologetics. it truly is a large, significant question -calls for a astounding answer.

I agree all these facts can be and are backed up intelligently and soundly. I also maintain that our school systems for many years now have been teaching children secular humanism trash and feeding them revisionist textbook garbage to no end and "Heather has two mommies" to poison innocent minds while God and prayer was taken out. This is the result; an unbelieving, wicked, adulterous, blasphemous, unholy, unthankful generation who foolishly says in their heart their is no God and refuses to worship the Creator more than the creatures He made. I do have hopes that some will still be saved in spite of their rhetoric. God has proven Himself to be true to many a person who doubted or denied or blasphemed His name because He is such a merciful and gracious God. So, keep on proclaiming the gospel and keep sowing! One day you will reap what you sow and this is "good seed" no matter if some of it falls on stony ground or not. We shall reap in due season if we faint not!

in which history is the halting of the sun and moon recorded?
in which history is the turning of a woman into a pillar of salt recorded?
in which history is the enslavement of the Hebrews by the Egyptians recorded? (should be an easy one since the ancient Egyptians left plenty of historical writings and artifacts)

please provide the "multiple reliable accounts of Jesus' life" ... (Josephus has been debunked.)

the Nicene Council determined which books were presented as "The Bible" leaving out many other books and mistranslations (deliberate and otherwise) are numerous. the Bible myths were recorded from oral stories so changed many times before pen was even put to paper. The New Testament was written some 70-100 yrs after Jesus purportedly left planet, plenty of time for legend making embellishments.

if you have proof of truth contrary to my comments please provide the evidence of which you speak. thank you.

Yes, things written in the bible may have actually happened. Things written about in the Iliad and Greek Mythology actually happened too.

Yes, Jesus may have lived. But was the the son of a god? Probably not. There were many different "prophets" wandering around in his time, many of whom claimed to preform miracles.

Once again, yes, we have found archaeological proof of some of the tings in the bible. We found Troy too. Does that mean the Greek gods exist?

You're pretty much wrong there. The bible has been re-written, mistranslated, and had bits added and omitted several times. Well known fact.

Nothing you stated proves that there is a god.

1 It has some of the history with some magic BS thrown in
2 No, the gospels can't get the story straight.
3 It backs up some of the places. Brooklyn is real, but that doesn't mean spider man is real too.
4 You have that one wrong. There were over 1000 translation errors.

Evolution is the idea of man being the offspring of a monkey? Well, perhaps we should release our brothers and sisters from the zoo.

As far as Athiests, I've said this before, If believing that once your dead, your body will slowly over the years be eroded by the worms until dust, Isn't that a form of hell? No sort of redemption or afterlife. Just complete darkness. And what does darkness behold? Cold. Nothing. Emptiness. A void.

There are archaeological discoveries of the old and new Testament, such as Hammurabi's Code (About 2000 B.C.)at the Louvre Museum in Paris, or the Weld Prism(2100 B.C.) at Ashmolean Museum in Oxford.

Even if all that is true it still doesn't prove that theres a god.

Scientists now are saying the plagues could have been mother nature and have semiproved it. OTher things from the bible have been proven true but unlikly(wall of Jerico for example)

Athiesm leads to creatism in that they cant explain how stuff got here in the first place without a big bang.

BTW Im christian too.

1. That a lie. No it doesn't. It supports that SOME of the names and locations are accurate. That doesn't make the bible real.

2. No they don't. Its only a book written by mankind trying to push their religion on other people. That's not fact.

3. No, it doesn't. It supports that SOME of the names and locations are accurate. That doesn't mean the bible is real.

4. Are you completely insane or did you just lie on purpose?
