i really like this guy and i think he does too. because he kept looking at me in the hallways.should i ask him or my friend ask him for me or wait for him to ask me? we are also the same language too!!

If he's staring at you and not walking up to you, that means he's too shy.
Having one of your friends talk to him is not going to make him lose his shyness about walking up to you. He still won't be able to do it.
You're going to have to be the brave one.
The next time you see him looking at you, just smile and wave.
The NEXT time he does it, smile and walk up to him and say HI.
Make light conversation.
Then if you still want to, ask him if he would like to meet you after school or something just to talk.
If he has lunch, the same time as you do, you could ask him if he would like to meet you somewhere for lunch.
Be friendly and wait for signs that he may really be interested in you. If he IS interested in you, after you get to know each other, he'll feel more comfortable and might then ask YOU out.
Be patient. Don't rush him. You could scare him away by being TOO forward too fast. Go slow.

im going through the same thing as you. depending on how long youve been waiting for this and how confident you are, do which ever you choose. it may drive you crazy to wait for him becuase youll have no idea if itll be tomorrow or in another 2 months. you could also tellhim yourself and itll feel so good to get it off your chest. whatever you do though, dont have a friend do it for you. it may be ok if your in middle school but if your in high school then i say tell him yourself. (i assume your in eaither becuase you see him in the hallways.)

You need to ask him! He might not ask you cause he might be scared don't have your friends ask him it's jsut not right if you really want to go out with this boy them ASK HIM YOURSELF!

find out if hes shy or not..
just talk to him make it so you guys are comfort around eachother that will make things alot easier
