What can't you stand about him? If it's something that he can hopefully fix, then talk to him about it. Tell him what you can't stand, and ask him if he'll please try to fix it. If he says no, then say that you are going to dump him if he doesn't. He most likely will try, and you will be a happy couple. God bless, and good luck!

If you can't stand him then you really aren't in love with him. You love his company, but that is about the extent of it. Loving someone means you accept them for all there strengths and faults no matter what they are. If you want him to change make sure you want him to change because you care for him and it will make him a better person. Don't ask him to change because it will make you more comfortable to be around him.

Is it real love or is it lust. If you can't stand him, chances are, it is not love. What is it that you love about him? Ask yourself that. If you have no answer, it's time to move on, because it is most likely a situation of comfort, not love.

What is your long term goal? Marriage? Think about what you want in a relationship and decide if you can settle for what you currently have. Don't sell yourself short, there are a lot of good guys out there, you just have to be looking for one.
