My father (Mohammad (SAW) ) stood up with (his) guidance among the people. And saved them from perversion and aberration, and turned their blindness into enlightenment and guided them towards the firm religion. And called (invited) them to the straight way.

You the servants of Allah, are the ones to maintain His injunctions and prohibitions, and the carriers of His religion, and His relevation, and the trustees of Allah upon your souls, and the propagators of His religion among the other nations.

Surely, those who believe and the Jews and the Christians and the Sabians - whichever party from among these truly believes in God and the Last Day and does good deeds, shall have their reward with their Lord, and no fear shall come upon them, nor shall they grieve.

The same did Abraham enjoin upon his sons, - and Jacob also - saying, 'O my sons, truly Allah has chosen this religion for you; so let not death overtake you except when you are in a state of complete submission.'

Say, 'O people of the Book! come to a word equal between us and you - that we worship none but Allah, and that we associate no partner with Him, and that some of us take not others for Lords beside Allah.' But if they turn away, then say, 'Bear witness that we have submitted to God.'

And your God is One God; there is no God but He, the Gracious, the Merciful.

I believe in God, the God of Abraham. A God who is only one, not three.

But I ask you, and I mean no disrespect, why is it permissable according to your faith, for you to express your free will and convert me to your religion, but it is against your faith for me to do the same to you? Why are non Islamic religions who practice evangalism prohibited in Islamic countries? But if a Muslim wants to try to convert me in that land, they are allowed? Shouldn't the faith be strong enough to withstand evangalism if it Islam is the correct one? Why would it need protection? Why doesn't it work both ways? Why can a Muslim try to convert me, but if I were to do the same in a Islamic land, I could receive the death penalty? How does that show the one true Almighty God's mercy?

Again, respectfully I ask, on what rational basis do your base your faith? If you could prove to me that Mohammad was the prophet who was prophesied, and he is the fulfillment of many prophecies from his birth to his death, I may take a second look at your faith. But I've never had a Muslim be able to explain to me exactly what prophecies their prophet fulfilled?

The one true merciful Almighty God is a God who is kind, who teaches us to think for ourselves, and see that his way is best by reasoning with us. So I simply invite you to use sound logical reasons as to the Islamic religion. How can it be proven that Islam is correct?

I do read the Qur'an. I have an edition that shows the original Arabic on one side, and as good a translation as is possible on the other.

I simply don't understand why I cannot practice evangelism in Islamic countries, but Muslims can practice it anywhere?

the prophet Muhammad was is ordered to give warning and hope, to call people to the religion of God/Allah, it is not necessarily about prophecies, but to get people to think and read the Quran and decide using sound judgment.

Yes I believe in God/Allah/The one who is gracious and Merciful.

I agree with the words you have typed here....expect the word "religion"....could that word be replaced with the word "faith"?

Religion implies "structured belief".
Faith implies a more unified concept "to believe".

Peace!

To everyone: MUHAMMAD is only inviting you to learn about Islam and a Muslim's perspective about God and life. The decision to accept is totally up to you. I say, there's no loss in learning.
