There are genetic differences. Start from the inside out. Eat a well balanced diet with lots of fruits and veggies, drink at least 8 ounces of water a day. Exercise 30-60minutes a day. Take a multivitamin every day. Shampoo is shampoo/conditioner is conditioner. All the additives in the world don't make one bit of difference. Skin and hair reflects ones health. Have a nice holiday.

The important thing is that you need to take care of it, but no more than five minutes each time. You also need to eat the proper nutrients; if you eat them, your hair will get everything it needs to grow. Then, you can get it silkier and smoother by combing it.

The Suave version of Matrix Sleek Look shampoo and conditioner works really well with Matrix Sleek look styling creme. Blow dry it staight with a large round brush in 2" sections pulling hard to straigthen it. Then use a ceramic flat iron to give it a really smooth and silky feeling. Finish it off with a small drop of Biosilk Silk Therapy. I have curly wavy hair and this makes it really sleek, silky and shiny and it also makes it look longer. Only shampoo every other day. Make sure you use a ceramic flat iron. Good luck.

Use Sunsilk. The product is originally a product from the Philippines, but America had to claim it as its own. SIGH. Your hair grows the most during summer. Duke it out. You have a couple of more months. Keep your hair tied up, it helps. My hair is practically above my hips. It took me two years to grow it that long. That's how long it usually takes if you want your hair that long.

Try prenatal vitamins. They are great for hair, skin and nails! Also, I am partial to the Aveda products.

do a deep condition, where you put the conditioner on w/ a plastic cap and sit under the dryer for 10min. do this for 3-4wks and you will feel the difference instead of sitting under the dryer you can wrap a very hot towel around your head too.

Try thin-thick shampoo along with conditioner and elixir. If you want your hair to be smooth use egg yolk.
