Is there someone you could meet people that have anxiety and depression and or other mental issues. i know that seems really weird but i just want to meet a friend that really understands.

Yes. There is an organization called the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance that will provide you with information on available support groups and services in your area. Try just sitting in on a meeting, or go to a speaker meeting where a professional or other speaker presents and you aren't expected to do anything but listen. This is all FREE. Click the link below.

Lots of groups on Yahoo, and local support groups in the flesh, most places have a mental health agency or advocate under public services that you can call and ask if they have regular meetings you can attend. Catholic Charities, teh Salvation Army or other such organizations might be able to give you contacts as well.

Support groups in your area? Many times held at churches, I believe.
