There is this guy I think is realllllllllllllly cute at skool. The problem is that I don't have any classes with him.He doesn't know who I am..but I think if he would meet me, he might be interested.I see him in the halls alot, and he smiles and gives me "the look" I don't want to ask him out, I just want to get to know him better and talk to him, as a friend first.Any suggestions on how to apporach him in the halls without seeming awkard?

Just walk by him, smile and say "hi" and walk away quickly. Don't be shy - I'll bet he likes you. Just go for it.

Simple, ask him if he can give you a hand with some school work that your having problems with, that way, you'll be able to spend some time with him and get to know him as a person before trying to make him a B/F, at least you'll get an idea if he's interested or not, he may not have spoken to you because he's shy, guys sometimes are you know, so give it a shot, he can only say no after all.

I had the exact same problem! I liked this guy for so long that it pained me lol but I was to chicken to ever talk to him, so eventually I got tired of being invisible and started being friends with his friends. By getting closer to his friends I got closer to him and eventually became friends with him. We got to the point that we could make fart jokes with each other anf be comfortable around each other and he confides in me because he knows I'm trustworthy. Weve graduated since then and are in different states but we still talk, something 2 years ago I never couldve imagined. If you can't get in with his friends I agree with the other posts say hi, give a smile fall down in front of him lol at least you wont be invisible. :)

Look around for the people he hangs out with, get to know them too, then let them introduce you to him.
Also, you can try finding out any extra-curricular activities he has, and see if those are interesting to you too.
And as always, you can approach him in the hallways and try to strike up a conversation from there ;)

well say hi to him he may like him as well and well if u guys get to kno eachother then well its better cuz well it sux wen u ask som1 out that u really dont kno that well cuz well then wen u guys go out then its kinda ya well ok we're dating now, now wat? u kno so ur on the right track to the right solution so ya i guess thats good, ne way ya just go for it thats all

start with "hey your(his name) right?" and then something like "ill see you around okay?" i did and it worked.
