If you keep all of those laws, make sure you keep these too. Some of the ones you may not agree with are:
No pork products
Leviticus 20:9 kill your children if they curse mom or dad
Worship on Saturday, not Sunday
Leviticus 20:13 advocates killing homosexuals
Leviticus 19:19 don't let cattle graze with other kinds of cattle
Leviticus 19:19 clothes must not be made of more than one kind of fabric
Leviticus 20:10 punish adultery with death
Leviticus 20:27 recommends killing psychics and wizards
And the best of all, Deuteronomy 17:2-7 says you must kill people if they don't follow the same religion as you.
I certainly don't follow and won't follow these. You simply cannot take a piece of the law that you agree with and leave the rest quietly under the carpet. All or nothing.

I'm not really a Christian (b/c I'm not a fan of organized religion) but ... of course its okay.
God didn't say those things...Leviticus did...and he ain't God.
Few people seem to realize that the Bible is a man-made book. God has far more important things to worry about then if you're gettin' some while 'Aunt Flo' is in town!
But seriously dude, it's perfectly fine biologically speaking, may be a bit messy, but it will only have an impact on your soul if you allow it.
That stuff was written back in the day when men feared the mysterious powers that women hold, and what do men do when they are afraid...? They say it's bad!
If you still don't want to risk your enlightened soul then
My husband says..."It's a poor horse that can't plow in the mud."

Your question says SLEEP>>>> not have sex. The reason I say this is because in some cultures women sleep with thier back turned towards her husband when she is menstrating. Also in some cultures the woman must sleep in a different place when menstrating. It is seen as unclean and yet it is our cleansing process . I am sure you have answered your own question...sex or sleeping is not the same thing. Maybe gods intention was to give women a break every month so that we do not have to service our husbands every single day of the month. I feel that you will feel guilty if you do...so don't.

To have sex outside of marriage is immoral. To have sex with a menstruating wife is only gross... ie physically repugnant. Jesus fulfilled the law of Moses. This is a basic tenet of Christianity, and the reasons why most Christians don't trouble themselves to keep the law of Moses. It's not important to us. There are some sects of Christianity who DO believe in obeying the law of Moses.... In Galatians 6:5 the Apostle Paul talks about how neither circumcision nor uncircumcision makes a difference for Christians. He was admonishing the early saints (Christians) not to argue with each other, or to feel that their uncircumcised Christian brethren were inferior. The whole point of Christianity is love. To argue over points of law like this is to go against the spirit of love, which is the most important law in Christianity (as Jesus stated in Mark 12:30-31). Added: CNJRTOM - Jesus taught the Sermon on the Mount, which reiterated the ten commandments and actually expanded upon them. He taught us how to live the spirit of God's law, rather than the letter of it. The spirit (or purpose) of the law is love... "brotherly kindness, charity."

The Mosaic Law was fulfilled when Jesus Christ said it was so. There are many regimented laws in the Old Testament that are no longer followed in Christianity, regardless how they were written.
The Ten Commandments is still valid.

I'm for all religions and none... however I should like to answer your question... If they want to they can... why should thy not? We have showers now? Yes?
What will be will be and what is, is.
I should like to tell you… that back then this was the first time man was given laws or rules to live by. Do you need laws and rules to live by? Or are you good?

A man can and should always physically sleep in bed with his wife when she is menstruating or not menstruating BUT he (they) are not supposed to have sexual intercourse during the time that she is bleeding. It is better for her at that time while she is sleeping next to her husband to have her body covered, as with a gown and underwear of course. This can minimize the temptation to have sex. If she is laying naked next to her husband, he will want to have sex and that is what God does not want them to do at that time.

Wow, harsh.
Did you know sex actually alleviates menstrual cramping and PMS?
Oh well. I suppose the Christians of olden days were up for their women suffering. "THINK OF ENGLAND!"

Ahhh... yes - this is a point we should hinge all our theology on...
Are you interested in kindness, forgiveness, service, gentleness?
You are missing the tenets of Christian beliefs by a great margin.
