Hi,
The reason for hot brewing, the hot water gets most of the tea flavor out of the crushed tea leaves.
As I am legend said, brew it hot and let cool, or ice it down.

Just like my hot black tea, only I let the green tea brew in about 12 oz. of hot water a little longer than my black.
I have an empty Aquafina bottle that I pour the hot tea into.
Then I get some ice in my 12 oz. cup, fill it with hot water, then pour into my bottle and I do this twice.
It makes for a nice flavor, cold tea and not to much ice.
I have a filling that doesn’t like a lot of ice.

I prefer hot green tea, however, when I buy it premade from the store I have it cold. When I first started drinking green tea, it was for medicinal purposes. That is why I had it hot. You make it the same way as if you were drinking it hot and then chill it.

i like tea cold. hot tea is horrible in my opinion. once you've made the tea is stick the pitcher in the refrigerator; or if you want to drink it right away put ice in it or stick it in the freezer for a few minutes.

I love it cold. I would suggest making it the same way, adding ice. So you may have to sweeten it a little extra, to assume the ice cubes will turn into water.

I brew it hot and then allow it cool down by itself, or add ice. I prefer it cold.
