That term derive from Indonesia Sulawesi province. A Muslim state. The actual word is Orang(man,people) Bugis. They are so powerful at sea even their enermy the Vikings are afraid of them. BugisMan were the first people to draw an actual map from New Zealand, Australia right up to Japan and China. They are Muslims.

Islam INVENTED racial harmony and multi-religion to exist. 15th July is the date 70000 Muslims, Jews and even Christians were murdered in Jerusalem by Crusaders. At that point who owns Jerusalem?
Who Jews and Christian is allowed in Jerusalem? Isn't that multi religion coexisting?

The Bugis were indeed a very fierce and much-feared people from the south-west corner of Sulawesi but they were powerful long before they converted to Islam around the 16th. century.
They were well-known for kidnapping the children of other tribes. If a baby was crying at night, the mother wold say, "Ssshhhh! Or the Bugis man will get you." This is the origin of the Boogey Man (US) or Bogeyman (Britain).
Today they have the world's largest merchant fleet and conduct almost all the traffic in rice, logs etc. between the Indonesian islands. They are still involved in piracy, often against the world's biggest and most modern ships.

Muslims invented chess! Now thats a great game. Every society has contributed something including the countries in the middle east. However most muslim countries are far behind human rights. Thats why so many dislike them. Turkey has gotten rid of islamic law and yet its a crime to try to promote any other religion then islam. Thats part of why the pope had to go there. We can have Peace with muslims but they need to take out there terrorist element. If they dont we will do it for them. Also oil is holding you back. It has allowed you not to develop a better economy. Once it runs out the middles east is gonna collapse.

The boogeyman developed long before anything Muslim. It has NOTHING to do with anything Muslim. It's a childrens story where someone is hiding in the childs room, usually in the closet or under the bed that will attack the child while he's asleep.
Parents sometimes encourage the belief to make children think its related to their bad behavior.

As for Muslims, no one said they're dumb. And, they are about as peaceful as any other religion that believes in the same god as the Christians.

The boogeyman may foreshadow all else including the sword as
muslim influence is declining to the free world as an antiquated and an immoral system. Islam means peace and that just shows they can't put their money where their mouth goes!

Look at the Ottoman Empire. While Europe was in the muck, the Ottomans were on top of the world, coming up with ideas and inventions in math and science.

The word assassin also has Muslim origins,as in Hassassin or followers of Hassan. So your point would be? If you don't know the story of Hassan look it up,but since you're such an expert on Muslim history you should know it.
