the acceptance of faith has hampered the evolution of intelligence by putting men at a higher position than women, and when a society creates lower standard for women they do not advance. When women do not advance intelligence is hampered and the society does not advance.
plus they do not teach practical science or the readings and writing of brilliant people who have thought differently. They teach others to be sheep, instead of showing diversity.

The exact opposite occurred. If you read Church History by Shelley most of your modern inventions came from men of faith. The printing press=the Guttenburg Bible!
Among some of the early intelligent scientists were Francis Bacon, Blaise Pascal, Joseph Lister, Sir Issac Newton, Harvey Boyle was the first to discover the difference between compound elements and was a preacher. Leonardo Da Vinci, Louis Pasteur,Harvey Faraday and Albert Einstein all believed there is a Divine Creator.

I c no hampering going on as a result of faith. In my walk faith added a deminsioned and took none away. Study your history and find the faithful are listed amongst the contributers toward the growth of knowledge even more than the atheists. Pride leads one to a fall. One who walks with nose in the air often trips.

The question of faith has driven the evolution of intelligence, from seeking answers to the ultimate question to making some believe they have the answer.
The denial of faith has therefore hampered more.

Barely at all. Religion did not give way to philosophy until 400BC. From there religion and philosophy remained dogmatic. As the Renaissance gave way to the Enlightenment, modern science emerged. Galileo's problem was not faith vs. science, but in his support of an idea from Protestant area. In fact, the writings that got Galileo in trouble were erroneous. His explanation of tides failed to recognize gravity. Our problem is freeing ourselves of preconceptions in science, not faith itself.

Not severely, most who seek knowledge do regardless of the existence or nonexistence of the bible. Those who are hampered or disuaded by the bible from learning anything new would otherwise be disuaded by something else in the bible's absence.

Leaving faith aside..... what in the world makes you think mankind has evolved in intelligence?
New gadgets over time? gradually built upon preceeding knowledge. Evolving intelligence? Seems likes wishful thinking is all.
