That is a very traumatic thing to experience. I would definately seek out counseling to talk about it and deal with it in a healthy way.
Is this a crime you witnessed? If so, you really need to discussed this with the police. If this was an accident, please understand that these things, sadly, do happen.
I don't know what your beliefs are, but I believe we go to God. That has always given me great peace. I hope you can find peace too.

try not to think on it and if it comed to mind think of something else. been there seen it . and worked for medical examiner./coroners office >>>>>>>>>all you can do is learn from there mistake and keep your self from the same fate . life happens and so does death ,i know its hard to get it out of your mind ,the memory will fade in time .

Depends on the situation. Did the killer see you? I hope not. Where I come from, we kept our mouths shut. I would be very troubled if I ever saw anything like that, but I would not want to be next
