My favorite fighter is the F-14 Tomcat, especially the D variant. The F-14A looks so cool in the VF-84 "Jolly Rogers" marking. Also, I like the versatile F-4 Phantom II that served in USAF, USN, USMC and many other countries.

My favorite fighter was the Northrop P-61 "Black Widow" night fighter. According to one of the design engineers none were lost and they had the highest percentage kill record. (perhaps a biased opinion?) The B-29 was my favorite bomber. It was all function with no frills. Perhaps the most technologically advance aircraft at the time it first flew.

My favorites the new russian Sukhoi Su-47 Berkut... canard nose, forward swept wings..... highly unstable without its flight computers.... this jet would run circles around the F-22 in my opinion. Scary thought, too bad the russians dont have a very good budget to build these things.... I love it though cuz the plane reminds me of the x-29, only more advanced.
