Paul was directed by Christ and the other Apostles. If you follow Christ then, you would follow Paul as well who succeeded in following Christ.

As a Muslim you think Paul rewrote scripture. The Dead Sea Scrolls prove this could not be the case and that the Bible, for what it has endured, is pretty accurate.

The Bible is not 100% accurate but, there are some things to take into consideration before declaring the Bible an invalid source to believe in. You ask a lot of good questions.

There are some problems with the Bible and errors. Please remember, the Old Testament was passed down by oral tradition before the technology of writing was available. Compared to the Quran which existed long after the technology for writing was invented. So, yes there are errors.

Secondly, there are different ways to interpret based upon the "literary forms" of writers. Depending whether it is in a historical context, prophetic, poetry, or some other type of literary form. I believe Jesus Christ IS THE WORD of God. The Bible is written by people inspired by God.

If you took a Bible course and discovered what SCRIPTURAL TYPOLOGY is you would be amazed. If you knew what SALVATION HISTORY was in the Bible you would understand. If you recognized DIVINE AUTHORITY you would know that there has to be someone in authority to reveal the "secret" truths God has given. If you research all those phrases you will begin a journey of discovery that will last a life time.

We have a saying in Catholicism: the New Testament is hidden in the Old and the Old is revealed in the New. There are many mysteries contained in the Bible that I have been amazed at discovering for the past 20 years and there is a whole lot more. St. Jerome said: Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ. The whole Bible is about our SALVATION: Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ fulfilled over 300 prophesies in the Old Testament about the Messiah you can discover 50 of them in cd's IT IS WRITTEN.

WHEN YOU HAVE BEGUN TO DISCOVER THESE THINGS YOU WILL KNOW IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE BEEN WRITTEN BY MAN. Jesus (a historical figure along with others in the Bible that are not fictitional characters) by fulfilling just 50 prophesies makes the odds of doing that 10X135 power! An astronomical figure that could not have been achieved by human means.

The thing that might shock you and others is that SATAN used scripture to tempt Jesus. So, too Satan will use scripture to trip us up from following the true faith. This is why there has to be DIVINE AUTHORITY that passes from the Old Testament to APOSTOLIC SUCCESSION in the New Testament. This is why someone cannot Authoritatively pick up a Bible and correctly interpret it nor can there be millions of interpretors to HOLY SCRIPTURE. There can only be one!

Jesus Christ only lived 33 years, never went more than 30 miles from his home, never wrote a book, never was on tv, never made a cd or any multimedia source and YET

-- Jesus Christ has influenced the world more than any person;

-- Jesus Christ's existence separates history (ac or bc);

-- Jesus Christ has more books written about him than any person in history;

-- Jesus Christ is the Ruler of the largest religion in the world;

-- Jesus Christ had 11 apostles and numerous martyrs die excruciating deaths believing in the Messiah, the Son of God;

-- Jesus Christ as the promised messiah fulfilled over 300 prophesies in the Old Testament. Just fulfilling 50 makes the odds of doing so 10X135 power, an astronomical number. No human being or religious leader's existence was fortold with such clarity, never fulfilled so many prophesies about them, not even Moses, Muhammad (pbuh), Buddha, Confuscious or anyone!

In short, Jesus Christ has accomplished things NO OTHER HUMAN BEING HAS DONE in the entire history of mankind. If anyone thinks Jesus Christ is JUST A GOOD TEACHER they are very unrealistic by making such a huge understatement.

Peace and may Allay bless you and your family.

We follow the Word (Jesus was the Word of God made flesh) and also are helped by the interpretations and spiritual advice of the Apostles of the early Church, namely Luke, Paul, the writer of Hebrews, Peter, John and Jude.

Paul was the most prolific of these writers and the special Apostle (messenger) to the gentiles (non-Jews). He had a sharp disagreement with Peter over whether gentile believers should adopt Jewish customs and the Law of Moses (Paul said no). Peter and the rest of the Church acknowledged that Paul was right.

He was the most deep-thinking of the New Testament (Injil) writers but nothing he wrote contradicted Jesus or the will of God.

Since that is not true perhaps I should just ignore this but I will try to answer why we study all of the apostles and Paul. Peter and James and John and Matthew and Jude and Phillip ect. were apostles who walked with Jesus. Peter and James were considered the head of the church in Jerusalem after the death of Jesus. Jesus told the apostles that "whatever rules you make on earth, they will be made by the Father in Heaven and what ever rules you loose on earth they will be loosed by the Father in Heaven". Paul was converted on the Damascus road. He came to Jerusalem and Peter and James, who was reluctant, gave Paul the authority to teach as an apostle which he did for the Gentile churches. Hope this helps.

Paul was ordainded by Jesus and instructed to preach. Jesus and Paul were all on one page or "all in one accord". Christians follow the word of God in the Holy Bible, the Holy Spirit guided Paul as he wrote the books that are now in the Bible, just as the Holy Spirit guided Mathew and Mark and Luke and John, etc.

God spank your mouth for saying Paul is a pedophile.He was hand picked by Jesus.
Jesus rebuke you for the lies you spread.You have a heart of hate.Evil is on your lips so therefor in your heart.

I agree! But let me explain....

The majority of professing Christians hang all of their Biblical foundation on Pauls writings, in which are so many things vague and so hard to understand! And in turn, disregard the rest of the Bible, which could clarify any disputes over doctrinal matters.

His writings are very popular with the Church Ministers b'cos due to the complicity of his style and wording, many things are easily twisted to accomodate erroneous teachings!

Both, the Bible AND Paul, warns us of this for a reason:

2Pe 3:15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation--just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you,
2Pe 3:16 as also in all his letters, speaking in them about these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the unlearned and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.

2Co 11:6 Even if I am unskilled in speaking, I am not so in knowledge...

I don't understand your question. We do try to follow Christ, i would say that not many Christians like what Paul wrote to Timmothy "1Tim;2;12", but we should follow the teachings of paul just as much as Jesus Himself

Paul is an apostle of Jesus. His word's are God's words. Not your god, but our God.
