Why are there so many "Christians" on here passing judgement with every word? It is very disturbing. I wish that everyone who called themselves a christian actually stopped to think about the message that they are sending, I don't think it's the one that they are meaning to. Would someone please tell me. And you know if you are one of the ones spreading hope, truth, and your faith. Then God bless. But to the rest of you. One question why?

Because they have become more concerned with the 10 points from the best answer so they all want to be right..They have let Yahoo Answers take their eyes off Jesus so now their faith is weak and they are imitating man instead of edifying man as God told them to.... They are trying to force feed sheep that refuse to graze... Judging people and telling them they are going to hell is not giving God glory... it's taking away from his word and not bringing anyone to him.

Matt 7:1-2
1 "Stop judging others, and you will not be judged.
2 For others will treat you as you treat them. Whatever measure you use in judging others, it will be used to measure how you are judged.

Eph 4:18-19
18 Their closed minds are full of darkness; they are far away from the life of God because they have shut their minds and hardened their hearts against him.
19 They don't care anymore about right and wrong, and they have given themselves over to immoral ways. Their lives are filled with all kinds of impurity and greed.
(NLT)

Eph 4:26-27
26 And "don't sin by letting anger gain control over you." Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry,
27 for anger gives a mighty foothold to the Devil.
(NLT)

Eph 4:29-32
29 Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.
30 And do not bring sorrow to God's Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he is the one who has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption.
31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of malicious behavior.
32 Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
(NLT)

Mandy, you have a very valid point. I'm not a Christian, in order to become Ordained as a Tianic Priest I did have to study the Christian belief so that I might lead people back to the faith of their hearts.
I read some of the statements here and I truly feel shame.
Sorrow for those that misuse their faith to fit the needs of the moment.
What is most heartbreaking is there are those that do it repeatedly then defend themselves with scripture.
It does indeed show badly on them.

I always try to tell people that Love is the answer, to Love the Lord our God, to Love your neighbor, and to love even your enemies. I will not with hold the truth from people who need to hear it. I do not judge or condemn anyone, my faith in God and the word tells me, my Lord Jesus Christ did not come to the world, to condemn the world but through him the world might be saved. and if they reject Him and his word, the truth and the way, they are condemn already. They did it to there self, theirs still hope. God so Loved the world, not just a certain group, but the WORLD that he gave his Only Begotten Son, i will not go with the flow and against the word of God to be liked. If i gain the world but lose my soul, what do i have to profit. It would be my will, that the whole world would be saved, and everyone live in love and forget how to hate. Thank you and God Bless you always

I don't see where the Christians on here are passing judgment with "every word" as you say. Seems to me that most the Christians on here show a tremendous amount of self-restraint in the face of all the abuse directed at them.

By framing your question the way you have, I think you are just trying to sow more seeds of discord.

Christianity means imitating Jesus, the only way to do that is to learn what he would have felt and done in any situation! Bible study with prayer and meditation is the only way to find out exactly what Jesus would do, Many People, proclaim Christianity with out EVER opening the Bible to learn about the Christ, and how to imitate him!

There is a disturbing trend amongst believers to waterdown the Word of God in order to make it more "attractive". Our job is not to make it attractive, but to present truth.

Matthew 23:23:
23 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.

Jesus tells us we are to love and to speak the law.

It is not loving to allow others to think their sin is OK with God. It's best we tell them (with scripture only, not opinion), before God chastens them.

We cannot waterdown the Word. There are too many souls at stake. Love is important, but love is not all there is.

I try to answer questions correctly, but some times i may hurt some one with my hate for gays and the catholics. I also ask provocitive questions to make people think about their beliefs and to ask us Christians are we hypocrites some times.
Maybe your question was aimed at some other Christians.

I try to think carefully about the impact of my answers for just that reason. I hope that I'm successful, and if not, I hope that people will forgive me. Thanks for pointing it out.
