The good news is that weight loss and reducing your belly will go hand in hand. There are many modifications that you can make to your lifestyle: You should choose some of these choices: Exercise more often and more intensely; spread your meals out through the day and don't eat much within a few hours of bed time; eat more whole grain carbs instead of simple carbs; reduce trans fats and saturated fats; don't cut out deserts and comfort foods completely, simply reduce how often you have them. The biggest key is to choose a lifestye that you can maintiain, not one that will force you back into your old habits.

For the stomach, you should also try exercising your abs. Choose some form of sit ups or crunches to do every other day. Do enough reps so that your abs are a little sore. This means you worked them out well.

Good Luck!

Simple tips for portion control:

1. Use a smaller plate so that you appear to have more food.
2. Eat with the opposite hand you normally do (if you are right handed, eat with your left hand). It takes 20 minutes for your stomach to send the message to your brain that you are full, and eating with the wrong hand makes you eat MUCH slower.
3. Drink a large glass of water and wait 10 minutes before you begin to eat. This will help you feel fuller.
4. Drink 24 oz of low fat or skim milk each day.

First of all, start eating correctly - once you eat right, you will start to feel good about yourself, and you won't be as lazy. Then, try to do some arobic activity (like running or biking) 2-3 times a week for about 20 minutes, then do some gym work (like using an eliptical - it works works your legs, abs, and arms) working up to 45 minutes a day 3 times a week. You'll see results in a month or two.

DON'T do situps. They make your muscles bigger so your tummy actually pokes out MORE.
Your weight comes off evenly so there's nothing you can do to specifically get the weight off your belly. Just walk, run, or jog everyday. Its awesome if you can work out before breakfast too.

Well, I am trying relacore. I will let you know if it works. But really- it is all in the portions you eat, and the exercise. You have to put out in exercise more than what you put in your mouth. But hey, what do I know, I am 5'5 and 240. Big mommasweeta!

celery- takes more calories to digest than it has, therefore, NEGATIVE CALORIES!

(your body tells you your full not when your stomach is full but when youve phsycologically eaten and when food reaches intestine.)

situps!!! rather than trying to tighten entire stomach, tighten so that bellybutton only moves horizontally a few centermeters, and not so much up. this will give you a flat stomach
