I had blonde hair and I had my stylist color it brown. I don't like it. I want to be blonde again. I asked my stylist and he said, I just dyed it brown, I can't do it blonde, I can put heavy highlights in it. I don't want to hear it can't be done, I know it can. I had it done a month ago. Do you think my hair can handle it?

wait like 2 weeks or so cuz you just dyed your hair and doing it again soon after will really fry it. especially when you're going lighter

Your stylist should have said this, "If you'd like to go lighter again, youd have to bleach your hair. The result will be blonde but the risks are baldness and/or ruined hair. You're much better off not killing what is left of your hair's strength and lustre by gradually highlighting it back to blonde over a period of 1 to 3 months. I personally recommend the highlights which I am more than happy to do, however, I refuse to bleach your entire head of hair because the chances of it ruining your hair completely and utterly are quite high and, of course, as your stylist I care about your health and self esteem."

Your stylist chose the incorrect wording but, basically, he was saying don't do it because your hair type will be serverely damaged and I know that you don't understand the process of colouring your hair, the effects it will have and you'll blame me instead of realising that you've made an incorrect choice for you and now you'll have to gradually change it over a short period of time.

Honestly yes. Go to any store early in the day and make a app. to go to your hair stylest that same day.( longs rite aid ) and pick out a blonde color you like. Go to your stylist after dying, becuase that way your sure it will be blonde becuase it pretty much is, except it may not turn out the same color. Then once your stylist dyes it and highlights it, it will be a perfect blonde shade for you.

I had my blonde covered with a brown that I didn't like. I went back to my usual stylist and she used heavy highlights. It took a couple times and it was back to the blonde it was before. Mine is more of a dirty blonde so I'm not so sure it can go from brown straight back to blonde with it being overprocessed.

Back when I was young and dyes were the big thing, I colored my hair and it was orange, and the next day I redyed it back to brown. From then on I Started to dye my hair all the time. I finally did it Ash blond, and as soon as it started to grow I'd do the roots. I think you need a new stylist.

You have to wait till the hair grows out. Wait till it grows and cut it short then grow out and be blond again and have healthy hair.

If you don't want to cut it short, get it highlighted in heavy blond

Its fine to bleach it back blonde, die wont work ontop of brown hair it will have a green tint so it is best to bleach it blonde first, then maybe in 2 weeks die it a meduim blode, i died my hair brown from blonde and it turned an ugly black so i bleached it and it turned orange and i bleached it again, and my hair is still healthy, your hair iwll be fine.
