Okay, so I am not Christian I am Muslim but not to religious 2. But my boyfriend is Christian and he 2 is not to religious and I also have some other friends dat are Christian, Do u think they expect me to get them gift and should I be expecting anything from them. I don’t want them to think I want to be like them cause I am already not in to my own religion like the way I dress ... but in heart I respect Islam a lot. And since we do believe Jesus was a prophet which a lot of Islamic religious countries have a special day the celebrate his birthday I am not sure if it is the same day. Anyway Should I buy be Christmas shopping or should I wait for Eid? Hum help me Christmas can be so confusing!

I am catholic but I have often had my Chinese-American or Jewish friends come over for Christmas. Even if I said do not bring anything they will anyway. I love buying them small gifts. We have a ball and they are not freaked out by being the only Non- Christians at a Christian celebration.
I do the same when invited to their occasions.
If you are going to gather to have some kind of a shared Holiday celebration even a secular one you may want to have that discussion with your boyfriend. If you are invited to someones house to share their holidays with them you may want to consider a small gift for the host or something simple for their kids. You do not have to go all out. You do not even have to use Christmas wrap just use a nice wrapping paper or solid color gift bag.

I will not use this forum to express my religious beliefs unless outright asked or if the questions answer allows for it. So all I can say and suggest: Explore the deep feelings as to why you think you should by a gift. You are obviously torn between what you follow and what you think about Christmas.. Explore your inner self deeper. A Great Power is speaking to your heart.

Where is your pal going? My daughter wanted vaccinations, and support with the expenses was once broadly favored. (do the difficult paintings and spot if you'll be able to discover a medical institution or health center that allows you to deliver her vaccinations at a decreased cost, inform them what it is for, there possibly a cost holiday) She was once informed to take Preparation H wipes (fairly, they're medicated, so use them whilst s/he will get any epidermis disorders at any place) Does she have a well digicam? She's fairly gonna wish to have one. Perhaps a few peers party and purchase a few mins for her mobile each and every month (those can grow to be very high-priced, the days my daughters peers purchased her mins and he or she might name us have been precious) If she's running with a university, ship a few university provides (those have been broadly favored by means of her as instructor and the scholars who can not often manage to pay for the extras) Mosquito nets? Lightweight but robust apparel she will installed her bring on, in order that if her baggage is not on time, or misplaced, she nonetheless has a minimum of one difference of apparel. Strong, relaxed footwear for journey and something paintings she'll be doing. This is most likely essential for the go back and forth there. Tell your pal God Bless.

Yes...get your friends gifts if you want. Christmas is not the actual date of Christ's birth no matter what anyone says. Give your gifts in the spirit of love and friendship, and accept any you get in the same light. Dec. 25 was chosen as the date to celebrate His birth, cause its as good as any other. Some scholars put His birth in April and some in September.

I am muslim 2. My friends at school celebrate christmas and give me gifts. I do not give them gifts though. U can get them something not for christmas but for being your bestfriend and being your b/f. I give gifts not for christmas but for their kindness. (sometimes) :)

No. If you don't celebrate Christmas, you shouldn't have to buy gifts to make others feel comfortable with that.
